WildLab is a design group made up of designers and researchers united by a single focus — working for and with nature. Working across landscape, architecture, strategy, communication, product and interaction design, they collaborate with community groups, iwi, farmers, businesses and government agencies to create regenerative landscapes, experiences and tools that deepen people's connection to te taiao. Rooted in the design programmes of Otago Polytechnic and Lincoln University, WildLab is as committed to nurturing the next generation of nature-positive designers as they are to the work itself.

Since completing my degree, I've continued collaborating with the WildLab team, an opportunity I hold in high regard. Contributing across project teams, I've helped develop design systems, craft shared storytelling narratives, and bring complex environmental, cultural and spatial information into forms that are clear and accessible to wider audiences. The breadth of work and the depth of collaboration have shaped me as a designer and I'm excited to be part of what WildLab is building in Aoteaora New Zealand.
